{"id":688,"date":"2014-12-31T18:14:12","date_gmt":"2014-12-31T16:14:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bornoe.org\/blog\/?p=688"},"modified":"2023-05-17T22:47:17","modified_gmt":"2023-05-17T21:47:17","slug":"happy-new-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bornoe.org\/blog\/2014\/12\/happy-new-year\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy new year"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Happy new year! see you in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few highlights from the passing year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Brought an apartment in &#8220;downtown&#8221; Aalborg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Took a six months leave of absence from August 1st 2014 &#8211; January 31st 2015 from my PhD studies at <a href=\"http:\/\/aau.dk\">Aalborg University<\/a> and got hired as a fulltime teaching assistant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attended the <a href=\"http:\/\/roskilde-festival.dk\">Roskilde Festival 2014<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel activities included three lovely trips, one to Paderborn to attend <a href=\"http:\/\/hcse2014.uni-paderborn.de\/\">HCSE 2014<\/a>, Germany, and two trips to Finland, one to Oulu to participate in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ubioulu.fi\/en\/UBI-summer-school-2014\">UbiOulu 2015<\/a> summer school, and one to Helsinki to attend <a href=\"http:\/\/nordichi2014.org\/\">NordiCHI 2014<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy new year! see you in 2015.
